Lake Frances Rules for Use

Reserved for the exclusive use of the Residents of Lake Frances
Guests allowed only when accompanied by a member
No fishing or boating on lake after sunset or before sunrise
Valid SC fishing license required if fishing from water craft
Lake Frances adheres to Catch & Release Best Practices
Lake users should respect resident's privacy
No boats, rafts, kayaks in excess of 14 feet or canoes in excess of 16 feet are allowed
Water craft cannot be propelled by any means other than oar, paddle, sail, or electric motor
Pumping of water from the lake is not permitted
Dumping of water into the lake is not permitted; i.e. swimming pool water
No swimming or hunting is allowed on lake
No loud noises or radios are allowed
No littering
